Saddle fit is often times one of the most overlooked aspects of horsemanship. Often times a horse may be acting out in retaliation of a poor fitting saddle only to be misinterpreted as a bad attitude or difficult horse.
If it is the saddle it can be as simple as where the saddle is placed or a flocking adjustment. Sometimes it is necessary to change to a completely different saddle.
As a Saddle Fitter I offer saddle fittings and adjustments for most flocked saddles and I am a certified fitter for Stubben. I primarily service the Southern California area.
Here are some signs that you've come to the right place:
Is your horse constantly back sore
Does he often buck on the landing side of a fence
Does he show resentment being tacked up
Do you have trouble with connection and stretching
Are you seeing patches of white hair under the saddle area
